Crew Access Notes

Start / Finish

Start: Place Brocherel, Courmayeur, Italy — briefing 8:30am, race starts
9:00-9:30am Friday. Finish: Place Triangle de l'Amitie, Chamonix, France —
cutoff 12:00pm Saturday (27 hours, gun time). Max race time is 26:30.

Crew assistance — only 3 stations, ticketed

Personal assistance is only permitted at Champex-Lac, Trient
(requires a UTMB Mobility transport ticket), and Vallorcine — regardless
of which stations otherwise have public aid service. Arnouvaz and La Fouly
have full provisions but crews are NOT allowed there. Each runner gets one
"Assistance" ticket per assistance station (in the bib envelope) covering
exactly one person; hand the ticket to whoever will meet you. Assistance
zone is a marked 500m stretch at each of those 3 stations — no vehicles,
cars not allowed at any of these (UTMB Mobility shuttle bus only from
Chamonix). No professional/medical assistance from crew — family and
friends only.

Spare bag (not a per-station drop bag system)

CCC uses a single spare bag, not drop bags at each aid station. Drop it off
at Courmayeur, Piazzale Monte Bianco, Friday 7:30-8:45am (before the start)
— it's transported to Chamonix and can be picked up at Chamonix Centre
Sportif from Friday 9:00am through Sunday 7:00pm. Clear/organizer-provided
bags only; no poles, valuables, or fragile items.

Aid stations

Only runners with a visible bib, wristband, and chip get aid. Organizers
refill bottles/bladders with still water or energy drink only — other
drinks/food are consumed on-site. Three tiers: drink-only, complete
(+ bars, waffles, fruit, biscuits, cheese, sausage, bread), and hot-meal
(Champex-Lac only, on CCC). Arnouvaz aid station is 100% vegetarian.

Access notes

Arnouvaz, Champex-Lac, La Fouly, Trient, and Vallorcine are accessible only
by UTMB Mobility shuttle bus (cars not allowed) — plan crew logistics around
the shuttle timetable at montblanc.utmb.world/discover/transportation/ccc,
not a personal vehicle.
